Inside ABERY’s Mold Making and Injection Molding Facility

Our 10,000 m² facility in Shenzhen brings mold making, injection molding, inspection, and finished-goods handling into one coordinated operation. The factory is organized around four core areas: the Mold Tooling Workshop, Injection Molding Workshop, Quality Control & Inspection Lab, and Warehousing & Shipping area.

This page outlines the equipment, process controls, and documentation used to move projects from approved mold design through tooling, validation, production, inspection, and shipment.

Mold Making

Mold Tooling Workshop

The tooling workshop combines CNC machining, EDM, wire-cut EDM, grinding, drilling, fitting, assembly, and mold trial preparation. Key equipment includes MAKINO CNC machining centers, SODICK EDM systems, and GF Machining Solutions wire-cut EDM equipment.

Machining tolerances are defined by component function, drawing requirements, material condition, and the selected process. Critical dimensions are verified with suitable calibrated inspection equipment; capability is confirmed against the approved mold design and inspection plan rather than one universal tolerance claim.

After machining, mold components move through fitting, assembly, motion checks, cooling-circuit testing where applicable, and pre-trial inspection. T1 samples and mold conditions are reviewed against the agreed validation requirements before the next correction or approval step.

Selected wire-cut EDM operations can target tolerances down to ±0.002 mm on suitable features and materials, subject to part geometry, setup, and inspection method.
Injection Molding

Injection Molding Workshop

Our injection molding workshop operates 61 machines with clamping forces from 50 to 1,600 metric tons, supporting small precision components and larger structural parts across prototype, validation, and repeat-production programs. Machine selection is based on mold size, projected area, resin, shot weight, process requirements, and expected volume.

Available production support includes robotic part removal, gate separation, conveyor handling, hot-runner temperature control, mold-temperature control, and centralized material drying and feeding. Automation is configured according to the mold, resin, quality requirement, and production volume rather than applied identically to every program.

Production orders are scheduled and recorded through the factory’s planning system. Project updates can include mold installation, trial status, sample approval, production progress, inspection, packing, and shipment milestones according to the agreed communication plan.

Inspection & Verification

Quality Control & Inspection Lab

The inspection lab supports dimensional, material, hardness, and surface verification using CMM, vision measurement, optical comparison, hardness testing, surface-roughness testing, and calibrated hand-measuring tools. Inspection methods and equipment are selected according to feature size, tolerance, material, and the approved control plan.

Typical mold-quality checkpoints include incoming material verification, in-process machining checks, assembly and motion inspection, T1 sample measurement, and pre-shipment inspection. The report scope—critical dimensions, agreed drawing dimensions, appearance criteria, material documents, or full dimensional layout—is defined for each project.

Inspection, calibration, non-conformance, and project records are retained according to the documented quality procedure and customer-specific requirements. Requested reports are supplied in the format and language agreed for the project.

Storage & Export Preparation

Warehousing & Shipping

Molds in storage are identified, protected, and maintained according to their material, condition, expected storage period, and production plan. Preservation may include cleaning, rust preventive, protected cooling connections, documented tool condition, and labeled storage location.

Export packing is selected according to mold size, weight, transport mode, destination, and customer requirements. Typical protection can include rust preventive, desiccant where appropriate, moisture protection, cushioning, secured plywood crates, lifting or center-of-gravity markings, and labels for the PO, mold ID, weight, and handling instructions.

Freight options and estimated transit times are confirmed for each shipment with the selected forwarder. Timing depends on origin and destination cities, route, space availability, customs clearance, Incoterms, holidays, and seasonal conditions.

How Our Quality Management System Supports Production

Our ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system defines how documents, changes, materials, inspections, non-conformances, and improvement actions are controlled across mold making and injection molding.

Document and Process Control

Approved drawings, process instructions, inspection criteria, and project revisions are controlled so teams work from the correct requirements.

Engineering Change Control

Design changes and approved deviations are recorded through the applicable change-control process before implementation. Customer approval is obtained when required by the project agreement.

Material and Component Traceability

Material certificates, purchased-component records, machining or production records, and inspection reports are linked to the project according to the required traceability level.

Non-Conformance and Corrective Action

Non-conforming results are identified, contained, reviewed, and closed through the documented corrective-action process. Root-cause and effectiveness verification are used when required by risk and customer requirements.

Calibration and Independent Audits

Inspection equipment is controlled through a calibration program, while the quality management system is reviewed through internal audits and scheduled external surveillance or recertification audits.
